Ethiopia Bale Mountain Coffee
Bale Mountain is a great new project by Israel Degfa. His new private farm is located in the Bale Mountains National Park, which was planted with coffees in recent years and is now going in to full production, focusing exclusively on making naturals. This area is not as common for coffee as others in the south, but there is a lot of development. The coffees are truly distinct and unique.
The farm currently has about 70 hectares planted with coffee, with new trees being planted continuously. The farm's main focus is producing high quality, and this lot is a great example. Its tasting notes are tropical fruit, citrus, floral.
