Connivence was founded in July 2012 when the founders realized that gourmet food enthusiasts rely on quality, craftsmanship, and a list of natural ingredients. Thus, they began to develop their own line of gourmet quality products, whose ingredients and resources come mainly from Quebec.
Connivence offers five terrines and rillettes that all contain 17 to 20% duck foie gras, which translates into a rich texture and a smooth flavour.
They also offer a classic port jelly and a confit of figs & onions that are natural accompaniments for cheeses and meats. A delight for the taste buds!
Finally, they also have a sweet penchant with their production of caramels and sugar cream that will win the hearts of young and old.
All of their products are handcrafted, 100% natural and certified "Aliments du Québec” (Food prepared in Quebec).
MEET SYLVIE & NORMAND
They had this complicity…
Sylvie, a graduate of the ITHQ and former owner of a kitchen accessories and gourmet goods boutique, dreamed of offering her customers her own line of gourmet products.
As for Normand, he is a long-time sale representative in the food industry for delicatessens, and owns a gourmet food sales and distribution business in Quebec.
They both shared the same ambitions, and so the outcome was obvious: Sylvie and Normand joined forces and it was enough, the table was set.
