Shrimps tacos


A variation on the traditional tacos with shrimps in the recipe that transports us to a happy hour atmosphere. To savour with or without the bread!

Shrimp tacos

Time: 20 minutes | Yield: 4 people


  • 12 small corn tortillas
  • 680 g. small shrimps, peeled
  • ½ tbsp. coconut oil
  • 2 tsp. ground coriander
  • 2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. Jamaican pepper
  • 2 ripe mangos, cut into julienne
  • 2 avocados, cut into julienne
  • 2 cucumbers, cut into julienne
  • A handful of coriander leaves
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • Salt to taste

  • Sauce

  • 3 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 5 stems of chives, chiselled
  • Juice of a lemon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

    Shrimp tacos
    1. In a frying pan, heat the coconut oil and cook the shrimp until they change colour to pink.
    2. Add ground coriander, cumin, Jamaican pepper and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and set aside.
    3. Meanwhile, mix the mayonnaise with the lemon juice and whisk until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Add chives, salt and pepper to taste
    4. Assemble the tacos with the shrimp and the rest of the ingredients, add the sauce and savour.
