International Women's Day
How long have you been in business?
I started planning my business about a year and a half now. I think I’ve been just being “serious” about from last December ;)
What was the trigger that made your start your business?
A combination of immigration and motherhood. One of the things that I had to leave behind when we came here was my career and I was looking for a change. I wanted to do something with all the things that I’ve been learning during all these years and my business is like a big puzzle where everything fits together.
My family. They are my engine and my support.
If there is one sentence that defines you, what would that be?
“Eppur si muove”
What defines/characterises you as a woman?
My obstinacy ;)
Who is your role model/inspiration, and why?
Every single mom. I admire how we all are so resourceful and capable of so many things in so many levels. It amazes me how we are all moved by the same great force: love.
What does international Women’s Day mean to you?
That our job is far from done. We have a lot to fight and overcome. These recent months have only show us how important it is to understand that feminism is not only necessary but urgent. We need to be united in our sorority. The world and the girls that come after our generation (like my daughter) need that we fight like our grandmothers did for us. We owe them that.
